  • Do I need to buy a meal plan?
Resident first and second year students are required to purchase a meal plan. Resident first year students are required to be on one of the ultimate meal plans. Resident second year students can choose any one of the meal plans offered in the program.
  • Will my meal plan auto-renew for the next semester?
Yes, the meal plan you choose in the Fall will automatically be assigned for the Spring Semester.
  • Will unused meals or Flex Dollars roll over?
Unused meal plans will not roll over. Flex Dollars will as long as you have a meal plan.

  • How do I add more Flex Dollars?
Flex dollars go on sale once a semester. Be on the lookout for communication from Dining Services about flash sales for Add Flex. You can add your Flex dollars through your My.Scranton portal.

  • If I have already purchase a meal plan, can I change it?
Anyone can change the meal plan you have chosen for the semester. You have until the last day to drop/add a class to make your changes. First year students can only change between either of the Ultimate Meal Plans. Second, third, and fourth year students can change to any meal plan. Students normally stay with the chosen meal plan for the semester and make decisions for the following semester.
Don’t worry - simplicity and convenience are all within reach. Once you have a meal plan, your student ID works like a debit card. Just swipe your card and the meals and points are deducted from your meal plan account.
